My name is Jay. I just moved to Portland, and I'm looking for a new group of guys to start playing some thrash with.
I am working on creating blackened thrash, which ended up being pretty hard. I'm getting there. I don't need to name my influences. You will hear them in the music.

Loosely structured. I don't want to finish the songs until I have a decent band.
For a vocalist (also needs to play guitar), I'm looking for a guy that does all death vocals. Not early 90s' cookie monster vocals. Something like Toxic Holocaust. If you can do some high singing, that wouldn't be frowned upon.

So, what I need:
Drummer (you better have mad chops. I don't play with bums. Send me a few videos of yourself playing)
Vocalist/Guitarist (Like I said, death vocals only. A few high yells in a few spots always sounds sweet though. Also, I play standard E tuning, so be ready for that. I don't do drop anything.)
Bassist (Just be a real bassist please. Not a crappy guitarist that will settle for bass. A thrash bassist has to be rocking all the time.)

I also forget to mention, I used to run a studio setup back in Cleveland. I don't have any equipment anymore, but we can rent out a studio to save cost. I will engineer, mix, and master anything we create.
