Jeff Harvey recently moved to San Antonio, Texas from Philadelphia, PA. He is an accomplished lead vocalist & frontman, percussionist, saxophonist & blues harp player. Jeff brings years of experience to San Antonio, having performed professionally in the Phila-NYC-Baltimore Metro Area since 1985.
From blues-rock, funk, original and wedding bands, to traditional world folklore groups, Jeff has performed in hundreds of venues including festivals, nightclubs, museums, churches, and corporate & private events.
His expressive, powerful baritone is at home with the blues, rock, soul, funk, jazz, gospel, even traditional Spanish music. He's a strong percussionist (congas, timbales, etc.), giving any rhythm section a boost, and his saxophone & blues harp skills contribute color. His front-man abilities set him apart.
In addition to live performing, Jeff works frequently as a voice-over artist, session musician, and teaches music privately. He is currently recording his third full-length album, a bilingual album (Spanish/ English) with Grammy® nominated producer Anthony Newett in Philadelphia.
Jeff is open to inventive live & recording projects, both long and short term. He is very experienced in the recording studio and can contribute background vocals as well as unique & interesting world instruments to many types of productions.
As for live performance, he's open to serve as an auxilary musician for any active bands or ensembles, from rock to folk. He is particularly interested in meeting a few like-minded, mature players who would like to develop a sophisticated fusion blues quartet project that would work well in upscale venues and aspire to festival engagements.

When asked to cite his vocal influences, he says there are so many, adding that he can’t limit inspiration to singers alone. "Other musicians, painters, authors, actors; the contributions of many have meant so much to my development as an artist. I just wish I could personally thank them and pay tribute to them all.”
