ABOUT

Jeff Hodges
My primary instrument is the chromatic harmonica. I also play mandoline, guitar, and autoharp. My harmonica playing consists of much more than "licks". I can play harmony and solo concert style as well. I recently gravitaed to bluegrass and bluegrass/gospel. I learned to play harmonica at age 5 or 6 and over the years I have played and improvised with traditional gospel and hymns, country, blues, jazz, folk, and rock.
I am a Christian, and while I do play for enjoyment,I think of my music as a ministry to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. When playing for a secular audience I work in some gospel tunes. No club gigs, please!
