Influences

Always changing over time. It started with my mother, but she wouldn't let me touch her nylon string acoustic until I was 11. I can't really pin my influences on a short list of bands, just a few examples reflecting my tastes. In the 1980's it was Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. In high school it was classic rock (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc.) In the 1990's it became groove-oriented alternative (311 before they got really famous and the Red Hot Chili Peppers). Nowadays "post rock" and various unsinged bands I find on social media that's keeping me going.
