ABOUT

Jeremy Lee Diaz began his musical journey in 2007 playing bass for its attractiveness. However, having a deep understanding of music and knowledge of music theory taught to him in his middle and high school band, he quickly moved to guitar and keys--growing an affection for both.
In 209, he and his friends began playing and covering music, which divided into two groups. One into Storybook Lovers, a band project that never took off and an early Sift the Weakness. When Sift the Weakness began to gig, Jeremy was overwhelmed by the thrill that came with performing live music and he enjoyed the band for a year until it eventually played in Florida and the lead singer moved away, leaving the group crippled. However, the drummer of Storybook eventually came to Sift the Weakness and a new band was formed. Nothing good came for a couple of months though.
In 2011, Jeremy began his musical journey when the band met new drummer, Jared King, and the former drummer moved to bass and vocals. The band set off and acquired fame from local churches, as it was a Christian band that performed for free. Soon the band got its fourth member, Kc Erdmann. Kc would eventually become the frontman and rhythm guitarist of Sift the Weakness as it got into the studio to record the record they are in the process of compiling: Talking Boxes for Famous Faces/If Team Heals All Wounds.

In the summer of 2012 a new band approached Jeremy with the intent of making him their front man. After recording a couple of songs together, Jeremy decided he was ready for the experience and the opportunity. Against All Odds took in Jeremy and began touring immediately at the end of the summer, ending their tour at Echelon studios in Hoover where they recorded the first 4 tracks to their EP. Besides having enjoyed the stage with Sift the Weakness and Against All Odds in their embarkment to the outreach on Christian music, Jeremy has traveled to many places playing music like Atlanta, Orlando, South Georgia, and the Phenix/Columbus area. He plans to start a new band with more active Christian messages as a side project and also record. Jeremy Diaz is currently looking for musicians to become a part of this!
