I'll be returning to school in the spring and I'm looking for sources of income. What I'm really about is multi-instrumentalism and alternatives to traditional styles of playing. For example "slapping" an acoustic guitar for a percussive feel or playing two instruments at once - a kick drum and a keyboard or organ bass pedals and guitar. I'm open to other things, too like in vivo looping and other forms of electronic augmentation - even building custom instruments for particular effects. Organic instrumentation is something that I'm not beyond, either - sometimes tradition is really the way to go. I prefer to take a minimalistic approach to music - I've run into "musical diarrhea" in some other bands I've been in - music can get too busy in a hurry. In a nutshell I'm seeking those who prefer a different approach to traditional music.
