Influences

My influences are varied. Growing up in Chicago I played in jump blues bands and even my father's country rock-a-billy. In college, I toured with jazz swing orchestra. I have played in bands covering classic rock, southern rock, hard rock, pop, alternative and modern music. I have covered music from the fifties, sixties, seventies, and eighties. I enjoy the nineties and nu-metal bands and more modern bands. Volbeat, Chevelle, Saliva, Disturbed, System of the Down and Kings of Leon. EQUIPMENT

I own Pearl Classic four tom set up and a Gretsch Power Grand Prix 5 Tom kit. I have several sets of cymbals...Paiste, Sabian, Zildjian and UFIP. I also own a wide assortment of snares from a piccolo to a couple 8 inch. I have an electronic TD-20 Roland electronic kit for special applications and recording in small studios and a full array of percussion instruments.
