All three songs above are instrumental for your drum critiquing enjoyment) Ok, So is this where I get to toot my own horn for a min?? :-) Hi E1, my Name is J, or JJ... So... I'm 33 years old and have been playing the drums since the age of 16 or 17. Growing up in a family full of musicians my influences are more than broad. I started off cutting my teeth on southern gospel and bluegrass and now many years later find myself playing lots of full on Jazz, New Orleans push and everything in between. Playing regionally from as far as Destin FL to New Orleans LA with gigs ranging from simple smoke filled bar rooms to very large events like the NO Mardi Grass Association ball and numerous Casio's for the past 10 years now. Onward..... So, I'm not looking to join a garage band (nothing wrong with them). But rather a band more established and driven band or a strong up coming group etc, etc. I work very, very hard, much harder grinding out things here at home when off the stage than most. Although happy, I'm never happy ;-) And with that being said shooting me a song list or music for me to learn would be off no issue and preferred.

I don't have a full time day job like most do whom play for fun, leisure etc etc. But have rather been fortunate enough and blessed enough to say the very very least... the last 7 years to play music with several different groups across the coast and make a full time living out of it for my family. I however would love to condense this to just ONE band!! As I'm increasing in age I don't want to make last minute moves :-) So... with that being said, if the band is not working several nights a week (2-3 min) and the monetary value coming in from the gigs can't or don't justify "well over" practice or gig commuting cost etc, there is simply no way in hell I could swing anything short of that. Wow, I hope all that make some sense as I am so very terrible with words and often confuse myself in the process of writing lol. Have both acoustic and electric drums. zildjian a custom, zildjian avedis etc. Many different cymbals for era/genera music that i'm playing to meet close authenticity needs.
