Vocalist - Soprano.
About
Two singers needed to complete an En Vogue type ol'skool Diva group. I need one 1st Soprano (Fantasia Chaka Khan) & one 2nd Soprano (Beyonce) for a live recording of my show; on or about Saturday, March 16th. Candidates should be athletic in appearance and performance. Should be able to sing AND dance. MUST be able to sing both lead/background and be able to learn your parts on your own. I'm looking for someone with great stage presence; a diva ON stage, but a sweetheart OFF stage. I prefer someone that is up and coming or an experienced singer who has enough time to dedicate to this project.
You must LOVE TO REHEARSE... I know that seems to be a foreign concept these days, but that's what it takes to get to the next level performing. Generally, we only rehearse twice per month (on Sunday afternoon/evening). Our rehearsals are fun and upbeat, however they are also very detailed and structured. The band is already in place and the music has already been chosen... all we need is YOU!!!
About me:
I am an up-and-coming promoter who specializes in keeping local LIVE music alive and well. So far, I've worked with some of the hottest regional R&B acts including: Grace Little, Lydia Renee, TaraGirl Mu Sic, Jeff Murrell, Chaz Sheppard, Zenia McPherson, and Summer Fitch as well as my personal band The MAIN EVENT Band. I am very serious about promoting local artist on my show, The MAIN Event, and I have a consistent 100+ audience.
