Jesse Burdick has been involved in music since 1995. He cut his teeth at the local monthly bluegrass jam in Foster, RI and has been picking ever since. Involved with such acts over the years as Chuck Smith and Chakulla, The Monadnock Mountain Boys, Dan Tressler and Dan Carlucci.
Jesse is also an accomplished singer and songwriter. His song "Lonesome Hills" from the freshman Monadnock Mountain Boys recording has been carried as far as Ireland!
His style of banjo picking varies between John Hartford, Ralph Stanley, Sonny Osborne and other past greats, melding into a brand nouveau articulation that is carrying him through the 21st century. Jesse also enjoys playing early-style flatpicked guitar and mandolin, a la norman blake and doc watson.
Jesse is currently looking to start a hard driving bluegrass band that perfectly blends the old with the new!
