i'm looking for a metal/hard-rock band with heavy metallica/ black sabbath, etc. influences because these are my main influences (actually, black sabbath is a distant second-as i'm predominantly influenced by metallica). i can sing and play and i have a strong presence and excellent musical vision! i'm very creative and can "jam/improvise/solo" easily and comfortably. i also have a number of original songs and arrangements with lyrics ranging from drug abuse to life/death/suicide issues, anti-religion/anti-god messages (though i personally don't believe in god or satan;-don't get me wrong!), politics/government, and more... i currently teach guitar privately here in sacramento. since this site doesn't show phone numbers and forces you to join so you can contact people i'm gonna cheat and put my phone and e-mail here: 916-334-8598 / jamesthejetman@netscape.net

Metallica, black sabbath, danzig, tool, a perfect circle, stone temple pilots, alice in chains, soundgarden, etc. -various bands from the 90's ( NOT INCLUDING NIRVANA! )...

Equipment List:

modified Peavey Raptor, cheap acoustic (2nd best sounding acoustic i've owned, actually!), and i'm currently using Revalver amp simulation through my computer and a custom built sound system ( which kicks the ass of any amp i've ever played and/or owned! ).
