Hey,
The band I was in for the last 6 months just tanked and I'm ready to hook up with some new friends! I play 4 string basses- not bloody 5 or 6.
I'll play whatever as long as it's good and snappy, toe tappy and serves a purpose to the listening audience. Sooner or later, it all comes back around and they're still gonna want to hear Brown Eyed Girl & Mustang Sally, and I'll be on it! Keep 'em dancin'; keep 'em thirsty and you'll always get hired back (unless you're better than the house favorite :p ).
I'm interested in being an equal member of a working band, not somebody else's blend-into-the-wallpaper-shut-up-and-play-the-bass kinda guy. I'll want to sings a few songs per set and promise to give my all in return on my band mates songs. I LOVE harmonies!
And just to be clear, I am sooo not seeking a Trombone player ^ Love a good horn section, though! lol
