Doing solo acoustic material right now but I would be very interested in forming a band.
Most of my music is written for a 4-piece band (drums, bass, 2 guitars and vocals) and I commit everything I write to sheet music and TABs (including drums, bass and vocals). I also would be open to allowing other bands cover any of my songs.
Looking for people who are interest in collaborating on writing as well; New and different.
The one song that made me say to myself, "I want to learn how to play and sing that" was Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and that's where it all started. Overall, I would have to say that Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, and Black Sabbath are definitely the predominant influences in my music. However, AC/DC, Yes, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, and King Crimson also have played a role in the direction of my music. The Doors, CCR, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Joe Walsh, Jeff Beck, Eagles, Alan Parsons Project, ELO, NiN, Radiohead, and Guns N' Roses also run through my brain when I’m playing or writing music. I also get ideas from very dark corners in my brain, but you're not ready to go there. Obviously, I'm also influenced by the good, bad, and ugly experiences I have in my own life. Unfortunately, that’s a tale for another time (plus it's kind of boring in spots).
