I first began playing piano and organ at age 5. My father played accordian (Cordovox), and keyboard for several bands in the Flint area, including "The Apollos" of the 1970's. Ever since my grandmother first showed me how to start her Hammond M3 organ, I've had a fascination for vintage Hammonds.

I began learning guitar at age 8 when one of dad's friends showed me a few chords on my mom's old guitar. Although keyboard has always been my main instrument, I love the sound of Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and others.

At age 15, I began sitting in for my father at private parties, festivals, and other various gigs. At age 18, I began playing for benefits, festivals, VFW's and by age 20, I was playing bars, and Eagles clubs. By age 27, I was playing 2-5 nights per week, working with some of the area's best musicians. I shared the stage with several big name acts, playing all over the state of Michigan.

After nearly 10 years of playing steadily, my music career finally slowed down in Oct. 2005 when I left the band "Magic" that I had been working with on and off for 6 years. In the last 3 years, I have done mostly studio work, benefits and sit-ins. I finished a college degree, married my wife Alicia, and my family has been my primary focus. I am fortunate to have a wife who understands my love for music!

I enjoy playing music and working with new people. I have a positive and professional attitude, drug and alcohol free. I am available to play 2-3 nights per week and would like to be working 2 or more weekends per month. I don't mind playing select bars (pref. bar and grill) clubs, etc. as long as there's an audience who enjoys dancing and music!
