About
Contact at jimmytodd30 at yahoo dot com. Gig ready in short period of time; learn covers fast and create originals quickly. I want to play intense rock with a blues, alternative, and classic tinge to it. But I am one of the most open minded musicians I have met...I'll play it if you think a crowd will get into it. Recently in a funk band and loved it. I played the guitars (rhythm and solos), bass, and keys, and arranged or programmed the drums on all of the tunes above.
Influences
Every song I have ever heard influenced me in one way or another. Some for the way I wanted to go, from the Beatles, Clapton, Rush, Stone Temple Pilots, SRV, and a ton more. Some for the way I don't want to go, country, punk, speed metal, rap, sappy acoustic or new age, and so on.
Equipment List
I play a Richie Sambora Fender Strat or an Epiphone Les Paul model Nightfall for gigs. I record with those and acoustic six and 12-string, a Roland guitar snyth on a a Gibson Q 200 custom shop edition (rarely anymore). I also play a G&L Bass. I use a Marshall Haze amp (which kicks butt at gigs but have a 4-12 for larger venues). I record with a Roland Phantom G6 keyboard. I record in my home studio with Samplitude 6.0.
