I'm primarily a rock bassist though I like many types of music. I started playing bass in high school and thru college; including recording. Took a long break until 2 years ago, when I started playing again with some guys from work. I've been getting into it again in a big way. My musical style is primarily rock but I'm very flexible and a quick learner; can usually improvise a good bass line on any song when I know how it goes, and often when I don't. I prefer to develop my own bass line rather than play a cover note-for-note. I tend to get along well with people and my musical style is supportive and musically aggressive. I play a Rickenbacker 4003 bass thru either 1 or 2 Ampeg combo cube amps, or thru an SVT-CL into a SVT-810E, depending on material and venue size. I'll play anything from backing for acoustic work to the rock genres listed under my Influences. Not looking to make a living - but I would like to get out more for jams and gigs.
