Hi my name is Joanna !
I’m a vocalist (alto/ mezzo-soprano) and have been singing in Poland (where I am from) and in the U.S. for over 20 years now. I moved to Atlanta 4 years ago and currently live in Alpharetta (Atlanta, GA) with my husband. I love all kinds of music and especially rock n roll, jazz, blues, Motown, and soft rock. I’m looking for a group of musicians who would like to practice once or twice a week and eventually perform locally on weekends. If you are pianist, guitarist, bass guitarist or singer and would like to collaborate please send me an email and I’ll get back to you promptly!

In Poland, I sang and toured with my band (we had a keyboardist, guitarist, bass guitarist, and drums) for over 10 years. We played in clubs and at larger venues as well such as “Battle of the Bands” events which often drew very large crowds. We played mainly soft rock (in both Polish and English) and enjoyed arranging our repertoire in two and three part harmony. I studied with a voice teacher most of my young adult life and gave voice lessons myself for many years in Poland.

Since coming to the U.S., I have struggled to meet other musicians partly because of the initial difficulty of speaking the language. But I speak fluently now and still sing often and have made several recordings using karaoke midi tracks. (One of those recordings is on this site). So don’t hesitate to send me an email if you’d like to collaborate or just meet informally. Also, if you know of any musicians who might be interested in accompanying a singer (especially piano or guitar) I’d appreciate it if you could help me to get in touch with them—I’m trying to meet as many musicians in my area as possible.
