Beginning solo career after 25 years of playing in a band.
Songwriter, over 300 songs.
Acoustic Folk.
Strong Vocalist.
Having performed as the lead-singer and drummer for the New England-based rock band ‘The Threats’ for 25 years, playing on tour dates with over 30 international artists such as Joan Jett, Sam Kinison, and Joe Satriani, I am now shifting gears and also performing as a solo artist, both in concert and in the studio. I kicked off my solo career last year as the support act for the legendary Garland Jeffreys. I am currently working on a solo CD, recording at the famous Sun Studio where Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison originally recorded. My professional musical career began when I started playing nightclubs with my band at the age of 14. As the group’s resident songwriter, I penned over 100 songs for the group, many of which were well received on radio stations throughout New England during the 80’s and 90’s. I continue to perform with The Threats along the East Coast of the United States. I guess it is the Gemini in me that gives me two styles of writing. One style lends itself well toward high-energy, anthem-like rock songs that I bring to The Threats, while another style concentrates on lyrics & melody with very mellow musical accompaniements. Some of my more mellow and personal songs have been floating around in my head for a while, so when I finally release my solo CD in the Fall of 2007, produced by Sun Studio, I hope you will enjoy them!
