I like to play a wide variety of music. I play classic rock , blues , motown , popular jazz ( the American songbook , a lot of real book tunes , but not too much the dissonant stuff that is more for the musicians than the audience ). I would prefer to play with folks that can read music and improvise .Ears are more important than reading , but a person who has good ears and is a good reader is a real aid for getting tunes together quickly. I like to play music that makes people want to dance . I'm looking for team players .
