I'm in my late 40's and have been "out of the loop" for a few years with family, work, and school. I am working my way back into steady gigging after knocking around with some former bandmates. Right now, we are committing to do something steady, but I will always keep my eyes and ears open.
I am not a "rock star". I am dependable and not a flake. I am not a big partier, but I like to have a couple beers or a whiskey as much as the next guy. I am not anti-partying unless the partying gets in the way.
I understand my instrument's place in the music. I'm not flashy, but a solid and serviceable drummer who can fit into a number of different styles of music (although I have played Rock and Blues the most). I tend to like bands that play an ecclectic assortment of tunes. I have played everything from George Strait to Rush, and been happy at all of it.
I am looking to be in a cover band that plays at least a couple gigs a month. Mostly, I just want to play with people who are easy to get along with and want to work toward something. Everyone needs a dream, and if I can put a little coin in my pocket along the way, great.
Now you know a little about me. If you need a solid, dependable drummer who knows how to fit in and get along with people, call me.
Ringo, John Bonham, Neil Peart, Dave Weckl, but I am comfortable playing anything you hear on either KZOK, KISW, or The Wolf.
White 6-piece Custom Classic Maple kit (made by Gretsch)with Sabian B8 cymbals. Full set of CAD drum mics (no stands). I have my own truck to haul it anywhere I need to.
