John Demas is the program coordinator for classical guitar studies at the University of Tampa and the program coordinator for jazz and classical guitar studies at Hillsborough Community College.

In addition to maintaining a private studio and solo career, John has gained national recognition as a bouzouki virtuoso with his band The Omega Project, a traditional Greek folk ensemble.

Mr. Demas is the author of the John Demas Bouzouki Method, The John Demas Guitar Technique and Theory Workbook and The NailScaleä Handbook, which is a nail care and maintenance guide for the classical guitarist. John is also the co-inventor of The NailScaleä, a precision nail measuring devise for the classical guitarist and The FretMapä, a clip-on fretboard navigational and illustration system.
