ABOUT

Too many years of corporate travel, and now I'm retired and home every night and want to play with a group, mainly for fun but will play out. I like jazz/rock fusion, smooth jazz, 60s / 70s rock 'n roll including doo-wop, R & B, folk, and a lot of country, especially today's commercial country. I believe music must have melody, and great music will always have great melody! I am a fast and clean player, solid with a touch of show. I have reliable transportation, and no ego. I feel drums are a musical instrument, and should always complement the music. Mostly, I'm looking to meet some creative, musical people and play regularly, exchange ideas and literally "make" music. If we reach a point where we can play out, great. If not, I look forward to playing regularly and adding to my skills... and my friends!
