Hi,
I am a Multi-Instrumentalist, Vocalist, (can play gtr, keys, and bass) looking for a "Working Variety" band!
(Variety being; top 40, classic, oldies, mowtown, country, modern....)
A. I wont be the only singer in the band, but i will do my share of lead and harmonies.
B. You must play at least 3-4 weekends a month, and more is fine.
C. I wont play for less than $100.-$150 a gig local, (Negotiable & more w/distance), i wont play for the door unless its an incentive after full pay.
D. I dont have a problem with some ad-lib, as long as i know about it.
E. I will give 150% even if i dont like it cause, its for the audience and not me & theres something to be learnt in everything.
F. Prefer to practice fairly local (salis, delmar, cambridge, laurel, fruitland, seaford, etc..)
G. I dont mind doing special events for free, for a worthy cause (MS,Cancer, Benefits, etc..), as long as there are paying gigs before and after event.
H. i'm too old to play around with characters that arent gonna play here or there, or i'm not gonna play that song. (in the long run of your life, u will play those places and those songs or u will play in a very sheltered band and alot of doors will be closed to you)
I am an outspoken person and will speak my mind but i'm open minded to compromise & trying things both ways. I'm up for originals and throwing them bewteen covers.
I've played thousands of gigs just right here on the DelMarVa, not to mention on the road as well.
I would just like to hook up with some decent workin players & singers to make a comfortable income playing decent vocal music and throw in shows between sets. (weekends & more if needed) anything can work with work cause time is always there.
So if u have a working variety group and need another long term member that can sing and play, give me a shout!

Thanks for lookin!
I'm like most muscian singers and when i record i am the whole band... thus DOA written in early 90's.
I Die Inside (in the audio/video section) was done live in a friends living room in laurel del there were 3 of us. I wrote it on gtr and had intro.s and what not but the other guy couldnt play bass so i got stuck with spur of the moment bass. we got in a circle and hung a mic down from the ceiling. In the second section there really were no real words... it goes from a 6/8 to a 4/4/ then back to 6/8 this was the first time we played this song together. was written in the 70's.
All my songs are copyrighted, been writting along time. Not every song is a hit so it takes a lot to go through, and what the band can make it as a whole...
I grew up with a lot of good singers and i can appreciate anyone who can sing both technically (the most) and self taught (if its good). As far as music, i'll listen to anything thats good. I like all kinds of music: rock, oldies, classic, heavy metal, pop, top 10, country, easy listening, folk, originals that sound good and/or have potential, etc...
I like alot of the new bands today as well. i'm not biased to any kind of music i like it all and i like to play it all.. the bigger the audience the better!
Too much to list, i'm trying to get lighter but i save too much *laffs* if it works why get rid of it?
However on stage, pending on the size of stage area i have to work with and what instruments i am playing, it depends on what i will use.
