Seeking musicians who have similar musical interests. Maybe play out once (or twice) a month on average.

Played clubs in a hard rock band in the 80s, quit for about 12 years completely, and started playing again about 2 years ago, practicing with friends and on my own. Started working on playing double bass this summer. It's just something I mainly wanted to learn for my own enjoyment and had wanted to try for a long time and would use them sparingly at gigs. Looking more to be a Tommy Aldridge type double bass player and not speed metal/prog style.

I practice on my own at least 5 or 6 times a week, working to improve different aspects of my playing and learning songs. I work a full time job and try to fit in self-practice as much as I can.

Looking to play straight-up rock & blues-based heavy rock mainly. Some blues is ok, but not all. Maybe even a country song or 2 rocked-up. Ballads and mid-tempo rockers are fine too. I enjoy playing great rockers forgotten by radio, not the same stuff everybody else is playing.

I'm very easy-going, get along well with others, no ego.
