ABOUT

My name's Jon. I love to sing and write and play drums/percussion. Been getting into production, and want to experiment with lots of styles of music. Working on soundtracks for video games and movies would be rad as well.

I'd love to start new projects or join established ones making captivating music.

I've been making some solo tunes during quarantine. You can hear the first release, Figures, below.

Also, I'm currently in a band called MODA. We feel pretty comfy at 4 members, but we've been toying with the idea of adding a 5th. A multi instrumentalist would be ideal, but percussion is the big thing. The band's roots are new wave but we're starting to branch out. We also love no wave, punk, post punk, dance punk, krautrock, art rock, afro beat, tropicalia, etc. Basically rhythm and groove oriented material. Dancey, fun, rough and tumble pop. Band all has great gear. Drummer's got a Roland Octapad, and a good acoustic kit/cymbals. Bassist has a pretty sweet pedal set up. Multi-instrumentalist has crazy cool gear. Great synths, guitar pedals, drum machines, samplers. Weird and wonderful stuff. Couldn't even begin to tell you about all of it. Don't know what most of it is. Just know there's a lot of it and it's all awesome.
