About

i'm from maine, moved here from alaska, and i just want to play music, maybe make people dance, maybe make a few dollars, but mostly have fun and rock out. i like to play high-energy folk'n roll, covers people won't hear on the radio but they just might know, fun stuff with a unique touch. i have hours of material and i have lots of originals but many work better in a cafe' setting than a bar. e-mail: jonboynemo@riseup.net

i'm interested in getting together with some great people to make good sounds at open mics, bars, farmer's markets, street-corners, et cetera. people who would like to be part of the creative process but also willing to learn material already in my repertoire. i like to play for as long as i can, stringing songs together, taking minimal breaks, and just working hard at playing music. but i'm not a perfectionist or a control freak.

Equipment List

i came here with a guitar, and that's all i need. actually i've also acquired a new mandolin and some harmonicas now.
