I currently play a semi-hallow artcore ibanez bass with a 100 watt ibanez amp, though I'm looking to upgrade (atleast on the bass) when I can. I've played in a few bands and people that slowly died away till no one showed up for rehersals anymore so I'm really looking for people who actually want to play. I am a student but most of my classes end early so i still have plenty of free time. I have no transportation so it really only helps if someone else can drive me (sorry). I believe in bands where everyone contributes in whatever way they can whether that's writing, making suggestions, or just putting out the effort on they're own instrument. Also on my own instrument I believe in doing whatever is best for the song and the overall effect. The end result is what's important. So whether it's backing off during a solo or bringing up the energy or laying down a smooth line. I like variation. I also have played a little Mandolin and I can sort of sing if you need back up in a song.
