Started playing trumpet in 5th grade, back in 1997, and ended up becoming section leader in the top band at Hudsonville. I performed in the marching band, pep bands, and took music theory courses in high school with the aim of continuing in college.
I didn't, regrettably. However, in high school I received a keyboard for Christmas and some music notation software and have been writing ever since. My goal is to make this more of a career than a hobby, and I've picked up a number of other instruments on the side - acoustic guitar is the latest addition.

[Not Titled Yet] Year: 2012 Genre: Christian Contemporary
Instrumental song that could be used as the background (or beginning) to a lyrical piece. I'm not finished with it but it's my latest creation.
Solstice Track number: 16 Year: 2009 Album: Solstice Genre: Celtic
Moderately intense celtic/instrumental piece that I wrote in 2005 and re-recorded in 2009 with some additional musical work. It is the title track to a CD I put together in 2009 and it is one of the pieces that convinced me to get more involved with music.
Facing Reality Track number: 9 Year: 2009 Album: Solstice Genre: Other
This piece was inspired by a number of games I was playing at the time of writing. I would love to record this piece with non-virtual instruments at some point, but I don't know anyone who plays harp :P
