About

Although we occasionally do "outside" gigs, we are primarily the praise band for the Adel United Methodist Church. We are really looking for a Bass guitarist and a drummer (preferably electronic set).

We have been asked to do the music for the UMC general conference this year, so I would venture to say that we do pretty good.

There is no pay, it is all done for the glory of God. Membership in the Church is NOT required, just a heart for God and and a gift for music.

Influences

Widely varied, including a number of originals written by members of the band. We do not venture into rap, hip-hop, hard rock or heavy metal, not that we are against any of it if it praises God, just that the congregation we play for isn't .... ummmm ..... ready/welcoming of those styles.

Equipment List

The church has piano/organ/keyboard. a relatively new sound system and all necessary mikes, stands and cables.

One of the band members has a bass amp that could be used. Beyond that you would need to provide your own equipment.
