The name Jötunnbløt comes from the term Æsirbløt which is a blood ritual the Old Norse tribes paid to the gods of Asguard, the Aesir. A Jötunn is a frost giant of Norse mythology who lives in Jotunheim or Jötunheimr. A race who were constantly at battle with the Aesir. So a Jötunnbløt is a blood ritual for the frost giants. Pretty much a "satanic" ritual of Norse Mythology.
