Born and raised on Chicago's west side, I started playing bass at 15 because some friends needed a bass player in their band. I immediately knew that this was what I was destined to do. By 20 I was busy playing the Chicago club circuit and Illinois college circuit. I've played in everything from trios to 12 pc bands doing clubs, casinos, festivals, corporate and private gigs. Some of my more memorable past projects have been "Essence", "Target", "Souled Out" souledoutfunk, "Selective Recall" .selectiverecall and currently "The Karen Hart Band" .karenhartband. Sammy Ray & Texas Flood .sammy-ray and an occasional fill in date with various band througout Chicagoland, I, along with Bob Scumaci of "Hi Infidelity" and "Selective Recall" recorded a remake of Wang Chung's "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" for a series of TV and Radio commercials in 2004, featuring Mike Ditka for the Majestic Star Casino in Indiana. I also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Tower of Power's own Larry Braggs for a benefit for bassist Rocco Prestia in 2003. I am currently looking for full time work, so any leads would be appreciated. ............ ...
