About
Hey, my name is Jeff and I am looking for some talented musicians. I have been playing the drums for about 17 years now and I am a very versatile drummer.
I have played all over southwest Florida, hundreds of live shows, including well known local clubs and venues like Gotham Hall, Paradise Tiki Hut, Leapin' Lizards, Lani Kai Beach Resort, Red Rock Saloon, Hustlers, Backstreets, Rack Em's, Jack's Bait Shack, Nemo's, Sal's Long-shot Lounge, Stevie Tomato's Sports Page, South Street, Pelican Larry's, Bourbon Street, Germain Arena, Yabo's, City Tavern, Harborside Bar & Grill, Blue Monkey, The Sandy Parrot, The Cottage, The Beached Whale, The Buddha, Castaways, Burn at Mercato and The Joint at Cape Harbor to name a few, and recorded at many local studios as well including Unity Gain and Studio Sea.
I have reliable transportation, never missed a showed, and have all pro equipment. Currently, I have 3 drum kits, 1 - 4 and 1 -5 piece ash/ mahogany kits and a 4 piece birch jazz kit. I have a full Audix live mic setup as well, and I own two of everything, from my snare, to cymbals, to hardware, so if something breaks or needs repair, I have a identical backup to fall back on. I can play all genres of music including blues, jazz, punk, classic rock, alternative, southern rock, hard rock, metal and reggae.
I love to play shows. I am a graphic designer and build websites, so I can be an asset to the band in that way also. I don't do drugs or get drunk at every practice/ show and expect the musicians I jam with to have the same outlook. Just looking for SERIOUS musicians with serious equipment that are playing out. I listen to pretty much all styles of music from country to metal, reggae and classics... I do not like rap or techno at all.
