Hi my name's Jon. I play lead guitar and Im looking to throw my hat back in the ring. Been out of the scene for the last year or so. I play rock, not metal, not folk neoclassical superjazz with synth keys and techno 8 bit beat track... I looked up the 10 best new portland bands of 2009 and almost cried. I want to make good music. Polished, tight, high production value, hook driven rock. I have influences coming out of my ears and appreciate and love most "not all" but most types of music. Im looking to play Rock with hints and splashes of blues, alternative, Indie, metal/hard rock... Simply put, I want people to hear us and say "This came out of portland? yer kidding... Hmm. wow!? What are they called agian?"

Im 25 and I've been playing since I was about 12. I can sing and will be happy to do backup vocals. Good at writing harmonies and such. I am experienced, played lead guitar for both FarCry " www.farcrymusic.com " and Red Hot Pistol " www.myspace.com/redhotpistol ". Im easy to get along with, definitely a goof ball, have a good heart. Drink but not into drugs.

Im also a graphics artist so logo's, tshirts, posters, fliers that type of stuff, I've got you covered.
