About
The music of Bosco & Peck is a return to the roots of song-crafting. After the break-up of their experimental jam band, Mississippi BlackSnake, the two songwriter's found themselves questioning their future. Which direction should the art take them?
Six months passed...
The answer finally came in the form of a Macintosh computer, a copy of Pro Tools, and an Air Stream camper. Seperate the items would be worthless(well maybe not worthless), but together they have become a haven. In their Air Stream sancutary they spent late nights writing and recording the songs that would soon lead to the formation of Bosco & Peck. "This group was formed more out of necessity than anything else. Without this band these songs would never be heard by anyone but us."-JPeck. These songs, though simple in structure, are complex and thoughtful. Paul Bosco describes the songs with one of his favorite quotes.... "It's like taking a fork to a potato... we all know who's going to win." And like a fork to a potato they mash the hell out of a song until all that is left is a heaping serving of mush. Then, it's covered in sour cream and butter.
