About
I'm mainly a guitar player (although I play other instruments) with some moderate major label credits back in the '80s--played with some cool people in all genres in NYC, back to Maine in '89, have played steadily in various cover bands, recently Under the Covers. I'm looking to collaborate with others on an original music project, as I both write and record original music. Little Feat meets Jeff Buckley meets Zep, Wilco, Widespread Panic-- looking for an Americana/Jazz/Blues/R&B/Roots mishmash with emphases on both excellent tune smithing and live performance. Looking for a real collaboration and partnership in all aspects.
Influences
In addition to the above: Joni Mitchell, Larry Carlton, Allan Holdsworth (I wish!); Albert Lee, Brad Paisley, Jimmy Herring, Neil Young, Bela Fleck and the 'Tones, Al McKay, The Flaming Lips, Jimi Hendrix, David Grisman, Norman Blake, Cannonball, Coltrane, Miles,Tony Rice, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Lucinda Williams, Pat Methany, Wes, Joe Pass, Tears for Fears, U2, Doc Watson, The Dan, Earl Scruggs, Pierre Bensusan, the Pretenders, and a bunch I can't think of off-hand.
Equipment List
PRS electric, Collings acoustic, home-made Tele, nice (loaned!) Deering five string banjo, Fryette Memphis amp, bunch 'o recording gear, live gear, etc.
