The Sofa King Cool Band, is a group of dedicated and professional musicians, who are well equipped to play any sized venue and booked through 2009, including New Years Eve. Our influences include The Allman Brothers, Stevie ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and even Wild Cherry.

Equipment List:

Our sound system was designed for this band and enables us to play any sized venue. All equipment is PROFESSIONAL! The backline is comprised of Mesa Boogie, Soldano and Ampeg amplifiers. Stage lighting is American DJ and Chauvet. The sound reinforcement is again all professional grade. All of the Shure, Audio Technica and Sennheiser microphones signals are sent to an Allen Heath mixer. Sound processing and loudspeaker management si accomplished with components manufactured by DBX, Presonus and TC Electronics. The cabinets and drivers are by Community Light and Sound. The monitors are Yamaha and it is all driven by 5400 watts of QSC power amplification. All equipment, except for your personal gear, is neatly packed into a 12 foot trailer. No more packing mic stands, monitors and light trees into the backseat of your car! All equipment is racked and modulized, for easy setup and tear down. All guitars are Gibson, Fender, Epiphone and Guild.

Members Of Band:

The Sofa King Cool Band was started by "Big" Tony Caldarelli, who plays lead and rhythm guitar and sings lead and backup vocals. Next in line is "Dr. Blues" Simon Beeching. Simon plays lead, rhythm and scary slide guitar, as well as contributes with lead and backup vocals. John "Louie" Briney, provides the thunder with his four strings and sings lead and backup vocals. Matt "Matty" Beilstein, is our personal FOH Engineer, with 12 years of professional sound reinforcement experience.
