I play guitar every day. It is a significant passion in my life. I play in 2 groups right now but I am looking to play more gigs. I practice often (2 to 3 hours a day) and I pick up music very quickly. I have confidence in any musical situation because I am studied in so many different types of music. Influences

I originally loved listening to alternative rock growing up. I still love that kind of music, but upon taking up guitar I got heavily into blues, funk, and jazz music. My favorite guitar player is Stevie Ray Vaughan and some guitarists that I listen to on the regular now include Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Guthrie Govan, Derek Trucks, and Tommy Emmanuel. These kinds of players set the bar for what I would like to achieve. Overtime I have been influenced by hundreds of guitarists, many are the regular ones like Hendrix, Clapton, BB King, Robben Ford, George Benson, and all the legends. I have a ton of different influence and I feel it works in my favor because I can play many types of music.

EQUIPMENT

I have more than enough equipment to gig out at a club. I have 12 guitars, but I mainly use a Gibson SG and my Fender Stratocaster which I just installed 69 Fender Custom Shop single coils in. I have a Taylor 816ce acoustic guitar and a Guild acoustic set up to open E. I also have a secondary Stratocaster that I set up to open E as well. I use open E tuning for slide playing like most people would.
