ABOUT

In April, 1986, after seeing Rush on the Power Windows tour in Charlotte, I HAD to learn to play bass. Three days later, I borrowed a bass and was instantly hooked. I picked up guitar about a year later, mainly so I could learn to dive bomb and shred during the golden age of hair bands, but bass remains my primary instrument.

I'm currently holding down the low-end for Babylon Dreamer, a Steely Dan/Supertramp cover act, and Imperfect Son, an original rock project of local songwriter and guitarist, Jared Smythe. My last bands were Raleigh-based Vertonica V, and Munich, Germany based Slaptop. I've loaded sample videos from each of these groups here.

It's been a pleasure to play gigs in both bands and also have the opportunity to record and produce demos for them on my DAW.
