This account is for me as a songwriter, and not so much for me as an instrumentalist.

Influences

My music attempts to capture the vibe I was born remembering. The deja vu that I trace to a previous instance of deja vu which themselves are not attached to any experience in my perception.

Past that, and the music of my family, I aspire to the level of originality presented by forgetting influences.

The courage of System of a Down in both topic and presentation.

The virtuosity of Avenged Sevenfold and Metalica.

The beauty and heart of Cloud cult.

The attention to expression on the levels of Tegan and Sara.

The intuition of progression as the Beatles.

And the poetic spirit of expressing a worthwhile idea from an unexpected angle using the prettiest or ugliest words possible for the required sylables and vowel sounds.
