Hey. It's Katie Here. I'm 24 years old and I am wanting to dive into the world of being a musician. I am a vocalist by heart but I am trying to teach myself some instruments (we'll see how that goes). My experience is mostly school based. I was in my school's chorus from 3rd to 12th grade and I was hand chosen to perform in all county chorus twice in high school. I received voice lessons and music theory instruction in high school as well. I am also currently writing 2 of my own songs right now. I have never been in a formal band or performed any real gigs, but I have to start somewhere right? I have a deep love for rock n roll and that outgoing, energetic personality that goes along with it. I have just got out of the Navy as active duty but I have enlisted in the Naval Reserves in Rock Hill S.C. Though I have never been in a band before, it shouldn't take me long to get use to the chemistry of a band and how everything works. I am open to any advice or knowledge that anyone has to offer. I am very committed to forming a band and creating music that may someday rock the world. If there is anyone looking to form a band or any band looking for a female vocalist, let me know. Though I want to write and perform our own music as a band, I would also enjoy singing for an 80's cover band to start my music career. If any of this musical info interests you, hit me up. Later.
