ABOUT

I am a classical violin player turned fiddler. I grew up in Asheville, NC and attended East Tennessee State University where I participated in the Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music Program. While there I played venues such as the Down Home Johnson City, The Carter Family Fold, The Paramount Theatre Bristol, and Bristol's Rhythm and Roots Reunion. I currently teach fiddle at ETSU as part of the Program's adjunct faculty. I work full time in a doctor's office in Johnson City but would love to play some on the side. I have played numerous weddings, recorded, and most recently recorded an original song I wrote for the ETSU student Bluegrass album to be released later in 2012 or early 2013. I love to sing as well, lead or harmony. I'm just looking to play out in gigs more often, or as much as my full time work will allow. I am willing to travel to gigs on the weekends or during the week if I have enough notice to be off of work.
