I have a voice that varies from low alto to baritone sometimes. I am 38 female vocalist looking for a band to sing in, the Fresno, or San Juanquin area.Hope to have some feed back on bands who need a singer.
I started singing in public since I was 11, doing solo's for school programs. Then was accepted in a Jazz choir in middle school and continue for 2 years in the choir.
From high school I continued singiing, all 4 years.
In jr college I tooked a vocal trainung class, the teacher liked my voice and asked me to be in his chamber choir that year,I did chamber music for 2 semesters that year, then transferred to another college.
The most recent that I have experienced in vocals lately is at Kariyokes bars and have had people request me to sing songs like from the,'Black Crowes, Kansas, Boston,Pat Benatar,Eurethmics" and many more popular artist. I hope this gives you more of an idea of what I am capable of singing.

Influences
People who been my influence in music is my teacher Mr. Jackson who saw a talent in my voice and asked if I would sing jazz music.
As far as other bands and singers that I have listen to or wanted more of a sound developement in music would have to be,"U2, Pat Benatar, blongie,annie Lenox,Prince,Beatles,The Cars,Police,Jewel, dido, Cheryl Crowe,Journey,Lenny Kravitz,Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd,Bush,Pearl Jamm,Faith no More,Cranberries,The sundays, Enya,Def Leppard,Stevie Ray Vahn, Ray charles,B.B. King,Steve Miller Band,Cold Play" and much more. All these bands and vocalist's have been inspirations of wanting to sing and enjoy music to the fullest.
