I'm looking to start a hip-hop band. Similar to the roots. I am a lyricist/rapper and singer. I also can make my own beats. I'd like the band to learn the songs I already have but I would also like for us to come up with new material so it helps if you're really creative. I want to bring out a new sound. Influences
Obviously the Roots. Also rappers including (but not limited to) Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Young Jeezy. But I'm also into bands like The Phoenix and Death Cab for Cutie. I'd like to mix hip-hop, soul, and a bit of a folk feel.
