Keith is a regular guy. He likes to do all of the things everyone likes to do. What makes Keith different from everyone else is his desire to be both an intellectual and a creative talent.
As a musician Keith takes great pride in learning covers. “I’ve always thought that if I’m going to take the time to learn the work of another artist I should be able to play it almost exactly the way that they recorded it. It shows my attention to detail and at the same time pays homage to the original artist.”
As a writer Keith always writes what’s in his heart. Sometimes it’s catchy, but more times than not it’s a Ballad. Pain is something most musicians write about, unfortunately Keith’s writing usually turns to Sadness instead of Anger.
When Keith writes Bass Lines, they’re usually pretty straight forward. “I don’t think you need to be all over the fret-board to have a good Bass Line. I hardly ever Pedal a note over and over, but sometimes certain songs call for it.”
As for Personality, when it comes to getting down to business, Keith is all business, but when it comes time for everything else he loves nothing more than to joke around.
Teamwork. Nothing means more to Keith than the Team Mentality. “Whatever is best for the band is best for me. I know that may sound corny, but in the long run that’s what always works best.”
Goals. Keith hopes to one day have a song on the radio that he either wrote or contributed to.
Extra Info, Keith is a Bassist, but he also plays both acoustic and electric guitar, cello, upright and to some degree synth. Keith is also a singer, but sadly even after years of trial and error he still can't sing and play bass at the same time.
What Keith wants most right now, is to be working.
No "Jam bands" or "Hobby bands" please. ^_^
Also, no Classic Rock or Foreign Language bands.
