4 piece alternative rock band seeking a second guitar player, preferably lead.
Backup vocals, synths/keys, and songwriting a plus, but not necessary.
You must be in your 20's with a car.
We practice rent free once a week near I-17 and Camelback.
Your influences should be alternative rock based, not 80's hair metal, screamo, thrash, or bluesy rock.

What you need to be able to do: play in drop d, alternate and standard tunings. Use a capo. Play octaves and arpeggios a majority of the time. Play tasteful and melodic leads. Be able to use and control feedback. Be able to use: wah, delay, tremolo , etc. effect pedals. Play a guitar solo every now and then.
What we don't want to hear: shredding, wanking, noodling, sweep arpeggios, pinch harmonics, endless bending, finger tapping.
We are more interested in you using effects, exotic chord voiceings and tunings, then how fast you can shred.
