I am a professional bass player and make a living just playing music. I never get tired of playing and I can never gig enough!
I have been playing music all my life with specializations on the upright bass and bass guitar.
I have played bass in every genre including symphony, bluegrass, country, western, classic rock, folk, metal, punk, rhythm and blues and rockabilly.
I am an on-call bass player for several bands and organizations in the San Angelo, Tx area and am able to fill in with little or no notice for bands that I have never heard before by watching the guitar player's hand for the chord changes.
I also read and write sheet music and have spent many years as a studio musician.
I am extremely laid back and easy to work with.

Influences:

I grew up in a family full of wild and wooly musicians and family get-togethers always became monster jam sessions.
Musical selections ranging from Miles Davis to Floyd Cramer to Alice Cooper have been the norm since I was hatched and I love it all.
I do have an extreme soft spot for a good stride piano player :)
