I'm the singer/songwriter who scored a moderate hit with the song "Up in the Air," from the Oscar-nominated George Clooney movie in 2009. I've written a ton of original songs that are introspective and mostly in a melancholy, melodic style that is often compared to Neil Young. In fact, I have a side project called "Shakey Deal" that is specifically a Neil Young tribute band. I like hypnotic, emotional rock music, and I like to write in different genres.

Kevin will perform with a group of amazing musicians including Teya King, Amy Fleming, Jeff Viers and others in a show to kick off the fall season. The concert will be at the Way Out Club, 2525 S. Jefferson, St. Louis, MO. Cover is $5.
A dual performance by Kevin Renick and Jeff Viers, who will showcase their original songs primarily. The show will begin at 8 and will take place at Stone Spiral Coffeehouse, 2500 Sutton Blvd in Maplewood, MO. There is no cover charge.
Kevin Renick and Ryan Kirby perform at the Engine Room, next to Feraro's Pizza, 7704 Ivory, St. Louis, MO. Kevin will feature a promising female singer/songwriter named Amy Fleming this evening. Also featuring harmonica player Jeff Viers.
