ABOUT

Originally from Long Island, NY, I started playing drums at the age of 5. Drummers like John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and Hal Blaine (studio drummer) provided early inspiration. The opening act for a Blue Oyster Cult show changed everything. That band was Rush! From that point on Kevin's passion was for progressive rock bands like Rush, ELP, UK and FM. Kevin played many styles of music in a number of bands. Hard rock, Jazz, Pop, Show orchestras, wedding bands, thrash metal (lots of radio play in Boston) and even a few years in a Rush cover band (drums and lead vocals) made for a well rounded musical background. The style of music didn't matter much as long as he was playing. Fast forward a few years and Kevin now finds himself playing music with some great musicians in The Carolinas.
