I'm looking to start a project. I've played in a lot of different groups, ranging from improvisational ambient to garage rock. Right now, genres that are of interest to me include shoegaze (MBV, Slowdive, A Place to Bury Strangers), darkwave (Provision, I:Scintilla, Regenerator), folktronica (earlier Beth Orton), and, despite it not fitting in very well with the others, cuddlecore/twee (cub, One Happy Island, that dog.). Although I've played them before, I'm not interested right now in playing mainstream rock, hip-hop, or fusion/jazz. I could be persuaded to be interested in goth, symphonic metal, or something in between.

Ideally, I'd like to work with a female vocalist and maybe a bass player, though I'm open to other combinations as well.
