ABOUT

I have been working and teaching music since 2004. I earned a bachelors and masters degree in Music Education from Murray State University. I perform regionally throughout Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky with various musicians in all genres of music. Current engagements include playing keys and sax for local rock group "Revelry", jazz group "ZTR" and is also staff accompanist for Harmony Baptist church in West Paducah Kentucky. In 2012, I bid a fond farewell, after nineteen years, from Southern Illinois' Flagship Rock group "The Egyptian Combo". I have been gigging for twenty years and have stage and studio experience. I have had the privilege of being the opening act for many great bands as well as working with very talented musicians. I am not seeking a weekly gig. Looking to expand my network of musicians in the area. Jam sessions, writing sessions, recording sessions, Festivals, and private events.

Influences

There are very few things that have not influenced my music. I grew up singing barbershop and gospel music and then gradually expanded toward jazz and rock music. I'm a huge fan of any band that has a horn line.
